| In
June 2002, Upper
Canada Malt significantly expanded
its presence in the Canadian food ingredient industry
with the opening of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing
and processing facility in Burlington, Ontario,
Canada. |

| This
modern facility encompasses approximately 50,000
s.f. of space of which 28,000 s.f. is dedicated
to manufacturing and processing, 10,000 s.f. to
warehousing and the balance devoted to research,
development and quality control laboratories and
general office quarters. An additional 20,000 s.f.
is scheduled to be added in late 2004. |

located in the industrial heartland of Ontario,
Canada, the facility is in close proximity to major
highway transportation routes. The building design
provides innovative solutions to almost any customer
driven manufacturing, processing, packaging or warehouse
requirement with further enhancements planned for
the future. |

this new facility, Upper
Canada Malt has ample brew house,
sweetener processing and warehouse capacity to service
the growing needs of its existing customer base
while allowing for significant national and international
expansion in the years to come. |
